A month in pictures

SUMMER'S HERE!!! We've been pretty busy...but we're having a great time!

Jay planned a date night. He said that we were going to a nice dinner and then to the Arboretum to a jazz/blues concert. That sounded like fun...so off we went. After dinner he started driving toward downtown (the opposite direction of the Arboretum) but I didn't notice. He stopped in a parking lot and that definetly caught my attention. He said that we would rather go to the JAMES TAYLOR CONCERT instead and pulled out two tickets!! I LOVE JAMES TAYLOR!!!!! We had awesome seats! I was so surprised and we had a wonderful time!

We took Landry to the pool in her ladybug raft! She loves swimming with her daddy!

All bundled up!

We took our little nugget to the Arboretum...

I'll post more soon!

I love being your mommy

This was my very first Mother's Day. Jay (and Landry) made me feel very appreciated.

First, they made me breakfast. Jay made beignets (which is French for donuts) just like you can find at the French Quarter in New Orleans!! They were delicious and a special treat!

Then, the two of them woke me up!

Jay and Landry bought me an assortment of wonderful bath bombs and a bath pillow to encourage more alone time! They are both so thoughtful! It made me very grateful for such a loving husband and sweet baby girl.

I have hair?!?

Landry's new favorite thing is to watch tv and play with her hair!!

Don't worry...she doesn't get to watch tv often...only when doing physical therapy and for pictures!!

Easter Pictures, Hanging with Dad, Playing, Bath time, Girl's Weekend, and Pony Tail!

We took Landry to the park to take some Easter pictures. She was not really in the mood to smile - so you'll just have to imagine it!

Landry loves to hang out with her daddy...it had been a LONG day!

I'm tired of playing, mommy!

She may or may not fall asleep during MOST bath times!

Landry and I went with the other Home Group girls on a Girl's Getaway! She looked so cute in her bathing suit!!

Last, but not least, Miss Hollie at Day Care put Landry's hair in a pony tail!!

We've been having a blast! I know I said I was going to post more often, but I don't think it's going to happen. I have great intentions...I'll try.

Girls Weekend

Jay was out of town on a Men's Retreat...so we had a good ol' fashioned girl's weekend!

She wasn't real interested in taking pictures with mommy!

Brandi came and spent the night...

This outfit was provided by Uncle Nate and Aunt Melissa...THANKS!! It's precious!

We had a wonderful weekend...but we're glad daddy's home!

Better Late Than Never?

Update:
Jay - currently making a bridge for a patient at school and finishing up midterms.
Megan - back at work. bummer.
Landry - 9 weeks. Now attending The Shepherd's School Mon-Thurs. bummer.

View Landry's 6 week photo shoot with Ms. Rachel here
Landry's stats: 23 1/4 inches, 12.11 lbs.

I'm slightly intimidated by the amount of blogging I have to do. SO, in order to give you what you really want...I will post only pictures with captions. Perhaps someday I will post funny stories from the past two months, but not now.

First bath at home!

Now, Landry was born with Congenitally Deformed Ears. Basically, someone in the gene pool had some crazy looking ears and our little girl was fortunate enough to inherit them! We visited a plastic surgeon when Landry was 6 days old and started the 6 week process of ear molds. They cannot get wet (which makes washing the massive amount of hair that she has a real trick) and they stay on all the time and are redone every two weeks. Here they are...

Most recent bath time!

Hanging out with cousin Pierson at TP and Gram's house!

Lounging with Daddy

Two month shots...OUCH

Tutu...provided by the Haragans! (It says "Daddy's Girl" in rhinestones on the front...precious.)
